63: How to Stick With It
Honesty time: I’m somewhat surprised to be sitting here celebrating 1 year of Making Good. One year of consistently releasing podcast episodes every week, rain or shine, no matter what I had going on in my life and business.
I’m a serial tryer-of-new-things and don’t have a great track record for sticking with things when the initial excitement passes.
Some of the things I tend to start, only to quickly let fizzle out:
Books (writing and reading).
Hobbies (I tend to buy alllll the supplies and try it once and then be done).
Organizational systems (I like to set up elaborate organizational systems and then never use them).
Exercise regimens (don’t even get me started here).
I could go on, but the point is… I’m not “one of those people” who is super organized and disciplined and always finishes what they start.
So one year of consistent podcasting is a big deal to me, and I thought I’d try to figure out what has been different this time around that has helped me stick with it.
In this episode, I:
Define “sticking with it” and talk about what kinds of things are worth sticking with
