127: We Should All Be Millionaires by Rachel Rodgers (Making Good Book Club #8)
The Making Good Book Club is back with our 8th edition!
My book club co-host, Charelle Griffith, and I talk all about We Should All Be Millionaires: A Woman’s Guide to Earning More, Building Wealth, and Gaining Economic Power by Rachel Rodgers.
Rachel Rodgers is an attorney turned business coach. In the book she not only shares about her story coming from not a lot of money growing up, and her experience as a woman and as a person of color building wealth in today’s society. No matter who you are, but particularly if you identify as a woman, person of color, queer person, or another underrepresented group, you will learn something from this book.
The beginning of the book is really all about why Rachel Rodgers believes that we should all aim to be millionaires. There’s a lot of good stuff - but essentially, it’s because whether we like it or not, money is power. One of the best ways of enacting the change we all want to see in the world is by having money.
In this book club episode, we talk about:
Why Rachel Rodgers believes ‘We Should All Be Millionaires’
The power of building wealth for creating change
How to build a mindset for creating wealth
The role of community in rising
How to create your vision
How to build a million dollar mindset
The role of building a team (both at home and for work)
And much more
