2020 has been A YEAR. But despite the fact that we live in a completely different world from the one we started the year in, many of us have tried to stick with our initial plans for 2020, no matter how far behind we feel.
Here's your permission to let go of your initial plan for the year, and make a new one. In this episode we talk about how.
I would encourage you to answer the following questions to help get a sense of where to focus for the rest of 2020:
What did I plan to accomplish in 2020?
How has my life changed since then?
Which goals or plans can I release?
What have I learned, done or achieved that I didn’t plan to? (Celebrate!)
Which goals still feel attainable and exciting?
What new goals or focus do I have given the events of the year?
Imagine it’s January 1, 2021: Looking back on 2020, what would make you proud of yourself?
What impact do I want to make between now and the end of 2020?
What action steps would move me toward achieving that impact?
I encourage you to think about ways you can make a positive impact through your business in the last few months of this year.
I will leave you with one of my favorite quotes, by primatologist and animal activist Dr. Jane Goodall:
“You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.”
